Sexual Conduct with a Minor

Under A.R.S. § 13-1405, a person commits sexual conduct with a minor by intentionally or knowingly engaging in sexual intercourse or oral sexual contact with any person under eighteen.

Penalties

Class 6 felony if the victim is at least fifteen but under eighteen. Class 2 felony with mandatory prison of 13 to 27 years if the victim is under fifteen.

Defenses

A limited defense exists if the defendant was under nineteen or attending high school and the victim was at least fifteen.
