Primary Representation
We provide comprehensive defense against misdemeanor or felony criminal charges. Representation in criminal cases usually occurs in two phases: the pre-trial phase and the trial phase. The pre-trial phase begins as early as learning of a criminal allegation, but more often begins at arrest, and continues through the first few months of the case being prosecuted. It is during this time that the case may be resolved through legal attacks resulting in dismissal, or an acceptable plea agreement may be negotiated. If the case does not resolve at this phase, and a trial date will be set, the trial phase begins. The trial phase involves all aspects of preparing for and going to trial.
Second Opinions and Public Defender Case Review
We offer reduced-rate case reviews for individuals who have been appointed an attorney from a public defense office. While all public defenders are licensed attorneys, and our experience is that public defenders can be both experienced and skilled, a second opinion is rarely a bad thing when making an important decision. This service includes reviewing the available information in the case and discussing potential issues with the other attorney(s) on the case. When engaged for this service we will not file a notice of appearance in the case, and will not provide direct representation at any hearing unless we are later engaged for trial representation. This service is meant to ensure that no serious issues are being overlooked in a criminal case, and to provide peace of mind before making a serious decision about going to trial or accepting a plea agreement.

Wrongful death claims usually belonging to the surviving spouse, child(ren), and/or parents of someone was killed due to the negligence or intentional act of another person. A wrongful death claim is similar to a claim of personal injury, however, it is the harm to the surviving family members that forms the basis of the claim, rather than the harm to the individual who lost their life.
If you have lost a loved one and believe someone else caused their death, please contact us for a free consultation.
